Report Activity to a Linear PERS with a Motion Sensor
Add motion detectors throughout a home to activate the Activity Timer feature on the Linear PERS-2400B pr PERS-3600B Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS).
The Activity Timer monitors motion throughout the house, and sends an alert to the PERS main console when activity is not detected for a certain period of time. Times can be set for 8, 12 or 14 hours. The DXS-54 motion detector resets the PERS Activity Timer when it detects motion.
Monitors an area approximately 30 feet by 30 feet. Add more sensors to monitor each area in your house.
Can transmit up to 1,500 feet.
The motion detector is pre-coded at the factory to unique codes; no coding is required.
It is a supervised device, meaning the main console will notify you when the motion detector stops working.
Powered by a 9-volt battery (supplied) that can power the detector for up to three years.
The motion detector is mounted indoors in a corner or on a wall between six and eight feet high. To conserve battery life, during normal operation, the detector can trigger the transmitter a maximum of once every four minutes.
